They were doomed anyway, as we just turned off the water at the old house.

Looks like I managed to kill the artichoke and thyme, via attempted transplantation. Lemon balm, catnip, and dwarf pom have survived the move, but are still in pots. Cover it as best you can when snow is forecast (either tented or triple-layer with frost cover), mulch very thick, 6inches or better, and use some twinkle lights to generate some warm air under the covering. (I'll do a winter post in November). Over time, the duranta will become stronger and healthier in the ground. - vynniethegardener@yahoo.comVynnie the Gardenerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03020156144380630531noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8109347158589852578.post-61844415272568954072010-08-20T16:23:57.567-07:002010-08-20T16:23:57.567-07:00Vinnie...we've fallen in love w/ our Duranta, ...Vinnie...we've fallen in love w/ our Duranta, but we live in Cookeville Tn (an hour east of Nashville) and wonder if it will w/stand our cold winters.
